Build a provisional cost plan

Enter figures from your supplier, freight provider and clearing quotation. Blank fields remain unknown. This worksheet does not calculate customs duties or taxes; enter independently confirmed figures.

No estimate calculated yet.

Check your packing volume

Use the packed carton dimensions. A freight provider sets the chargeable basis and any divisor or minimum charge.

What must the written quotation show?

Quote validity, exact goods, quantity and inclusions. Each charge should be marked included, estimated or excluded. Identify the named delivery point and agreed transport responsibilities.

Ask separately about power conversion, spares, consumables, premises, permits and working capital. A low machine price alone does not establish the complete startup cost.

When can the team give a delivery estimate?

After supplier availability or production lead time, route and clearance assumptions are checked. Request separate estimated dates for procurement, readiness, dispatch and arrival.

Production changes, transit and clearance can affect timing. Ask how changes will be communicated. No standard rate or delivery promise is published for every order.
